Ron McManis

Upon graduation from Modesto High School in 1979, Ron entered the family farming business, learning the basic growing, business and marketing skills from his father. Ron fell in love with the winegrape side of the business and in 1990, along with his wife Jamie, bought their first vineyard.

Ron is a graduate of the California Ag Leadership Program Class of XXI. In 1997, Ron was selected by the California Jaycees as their Outstanding Young Farmer. He is a current member and a past Board Member of the California Association of Winegrape Growers, a member of the California Wine Institute, Wine Market Council and California Farm Bureau.

Ron and Jamie have two children, Justin age 20 and Tanya age 17. Justin is now working full time at the winery. Tanya recently graduated from high school and will attend MJC in the fall. She works part time for the winery as well.
