Jeff Runquist

After graduating from the University of California at Davis in 1980, Jeff has been the winemaker for Montevina Wines in Amador County, the Napa Valley Cooperative Winery in St. Helena and the J. Lohr Winery in San Jose and Paso Robles. After leaving J. Lohr in 1996 and completing a business degree at Santa Clara University, Jeff launched his own brand specializing in small lots of vineyard designated red wines from appellations ranging from Amador County to Paso Robles, Clarksburg and the Napa Valley. In 1997, Jeff teamed with Ron McManis to design and develop what is now the McManis Family Vineyards winery and winemaking program.
