2007 Chardonnay

Winemaking Notes

The grapes for this wine came from our River Junction vineyards at the confluence of the San Joaquin and Stanislaus Rivers. With Harvest Dates of 22 August 2007 - 27 August 2007 and an average Brix at Harvest: 24.1° Brix, our 2007 Chardonnay was cold fermented in stainless steel tanks.

Tasting Notes

Medium straw in color, the 2007 Chardonnay from McManis Family Vineyards is aromatically complex with abundant aromas ofPear, Mango and tropical fruit. Adding to the complexity is a wonderful bouquet of Vanilla and Hazelnut. Everything promised by the nose is delivered upon, from a rich and creamy mouthful of this wine.
