2006 Pinot Noir

Winemaking Notes

Our first Pinot Noir is a winner. With the bulk of the fruit coming from our own River Junction vineyard, we are looking forward to providing a consistent and high quality for wine for many years to come. The grapes were harvested between August 30 and September 6, 2006 - with Brix at harvest averaging 24.8.

The 2006 Pinot Noir is medium ruby in color. A layer of hazelnut, which is contributed from oak, accompanies aromas of ripe cherries and plums. Rich fruit flavors with hints of milk chocolate linger in the elegant finish.
