2003 Pinot Grigio
Winemaking Notes
Light straw in color. Aromas of apricot, peach and pear mingle with a mineral flintiness. On the palate the wine delivers stone fruit. The wine has an acidity that provides refreshment, but the body doesn't suffer for it has a creamy note of richness not often found from a varietal more known for thin crisp wines. The wine finishes with surprising length featuring the minerals hinted at in the bouquet.
