2002 Cabernet Sauvignon

Winemaking Notes

A ruby-purple color of good depth characterizes the appearance of the 2002 Cabernet.  Aromatically, the wine has a very distinctive blueberry and lavender component that is layered with hints of clove and mocha spiciness.  The fruit on the palate has a thickness and density that is surprising given the subtle softness of the tannins.  A roasted heavy toast oaken finish lingers for an extended period.
