2000 Merlot

Winemaking Notes

This wine has a medium ruby color with youthful bright purple hues. Fresh cherry and red berry fruits are featured in the aroma along with a lavish dose of toasty French oak in the bouquet. Flavors are of ripe currants are paired with supple tannins leading to a chocolate oak finish.

Barrel aged for 8 months in 13% New American oak barrels, 48% New French Oak barrels, and 39% neutral French and American Oak barrels.
