2015 Petite Sirah
August 28 - Sept. 13, 2015
26.5 Avg. Brix at Harvest
New and Used French and American Oak
First Bottling August 2016
The grapes for our 2015 Petite Sirah were harvested between August 28 - Sept. 13, 20153, with an average Brix of 26.5. After fermenting on the skins for 6-9 days, the must was pressed and the resulting wine finished fermentation in Stainless Steel tanks. The resulting wine was then aged on new and used French and American Oak for approximately 6 months.
The 2015 Petite Sirah is deep purple in color, with an exceptionally bright hue. The nose is filled with ripe blackberry, toffee and a bit of clove. Flavors of juicy dark berry fruit are abundant. The round dense wine has a mocha finish which is absent of any astringency.

I tried this wine last month and one of my favorites. It was purchased at a local Trader Joe's unfortunately no more available. Want to know where I can purchase a dozen of this Petite Sirah 2014. Please email details to me. Thank you, A.M.

Charlene. Yes, the wine is available in Toronto, and most of the range of McManis wines as well! The Vine Agency. Great wine & great price!

I love McManis Pinot Noir, but this Petit Sirah was a very pleasant experience. Very sophisticated, with quite a bit more body and excellent berry flavors. This will always be in my cellar!

How blessed to enjoy such a sumptuous wine and at amazingly low price point. McManis Petite Sirah has been my go-to since discovering it during a ski trip to Breckenridge, Co in 2013. Jammy, rich, bold in a class termed "chewy wines" by a local wine merchant, it is the "house wine" in our home.
