Jamie Lynn Vineyard
The Jamie Lynn Vineyard Barbera possesses a beautiful ruby hue and is aromatically engaging with raspberry, black cherry, and clove notes. Medium-bodied with a hint of mocha flavor, the wine lingers on the palate with soft, mellow tannins.
Harvest and Production Notes:
The grapes for our Barbera are generally harvested in early September when the grapes are around 25 brix. The must is then typically fermented for 7-9 days on the skins, pressed, and the resulting wine finishes fermentation in stainless steel tanks. After clarification, the wine is aged on French and American oak for approximately 6 months.
